Can AI run my shop's morning huddle?

Auto Advisor's Operations agent builds a daily huddle brief from your live board: active car count versus the day's goal, open repair-order load, crew efficiency against the 85 to 120% band, and today's no-shows, with a one-line headline. It also flags each technician below the efficiency band as a coaching draft the manager owns.

What it does

What does the Operations agent actually do?

Hands the manager a ready-to-read huddle brief, cars on the board versus the goal, crew efficiency against the healthy band, and exactly which techs need a coaching conversation the manager owns.

  1. 01

Builds the daily huddle brief: active car count versus the day's goal, open-RO load, crew efficiency versus the 85 to 120% band, today's no-shows, and a one-line headline, one per day.

  2. 02

Computes car-count goal attainment against a target that defaults to your bay count and can be overridden per run.

  3. 03

Flags each technician below the 85% efficiency band as a coaching draft, worst first, capped at six, with the conversation explicitly human-owned.

What it reads to do the work

  • Your service orders, technicians, appointments, and bay count
  • The 85 to 120% technician efficiency benchmark band
  • The autonomy mode you set for it (Off is read-only)
How you stay in control

How do I stay in control of what it does?

Every agent runs in the mode you choose, Off, Approve, or Auto, and every agent starts in Approve so a human signs off before anything happens. Here is what Operations can do, with the gate on each action, and the rails that hold in code, not in a policy document.

The actions, and their gates

  • Queue the daily huddle brief for the manager to read outYou approve it
  • Queue a coaching flag per below-band technicianYou approve it
  • It never changes the board and never messages a customerRead-only

The guardrails, held in code

  • Draft-only in every mode; no Operations action can auto-execute.
  • One huddle and one flag per technician per day, idempotent.
  • A coaching-flag cap of six per run.
  • Every figure comes from pure, unit-tested math; no AI model is involved.
What it will not do

What does Operations not do yet?

Every claim on this page maps to shipped, tested code, and the same discipline applies to the limits. Here is where the edge of the product is today, stated plainly, so nothing on your shop rests on a promise.

  • Comeback tracking is not built; nothing computes a comeback rate yet, so we do not report one.
  • It sets one shop-level car-count goal (defaulting to your bay count); per-advisor and per-tech goals are not built yet.
  • Technician efficiency reads the number your system of record carries, so a coaching flag is only as fresh as that data.
  • The huddle generates when triggered; make it the first tap of the morning until the scheduler ships.
The numbers it moves

Which numbers does Operations actually move?

Only measured numbers are listed here; a metric the product does not compute does not get claimed.

  • Car-count goal attainment (actual, target, met)
  • Crew efficiency versus the 85 to 120% band
  • Open-RO load, same-day no-show count, and coaching flags per day
